This photo was taken on Richmond hill. I had seen the weather forecast that sunset and it was for rain and sunshine. The perfect drama you need for landscape type shots like this. A plan sunny sky is just too boring. But add stormy coloured rain clouds and sunshine and it transforms the photo. The trees and landscape here were beginning to turn to the autumnal colours. And the focus lies on the striking red tree in the foreground. No photoshop here, just on camera filters to balance the sky from the ground. It makes a fantastic autumnal landscape print of Richmond.
