Without a doubt the Robin is my favourite bird in Richmond Park. I just love how confident and sweet natured these birds are, popping up here and there to say hello. This photo was taken in winter as it snowed in the park. The dogwood plant provided a brilliant and unusual colour and setting for the Robin to sit within. As robins are not sy I stayed around for quite some time for the right angle and shot. This is the result. It prints very nicely too.
